In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful

NASEROUN

We are here. He will not stand alone.

I  ·  The Cry

When the Qāʾim of the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) rises,
he will stand between the Rukn and the Maqām, and cry out to the world:

إذا ظهر القائم (عج) قام بین الرکن و المقام و ینادی بنداءات خمسه

ألا یا أهل العالم إن جدّی الحسین قتلوه عطشان

“O people of the world — my grandfather Hussein, they killed him thirsty.”

ألا یا أهل العالم إنّ جدّی الحسین علیه السّلام طرحوه عریانا

“O people of the world — my grandfather Hussein, they cast him naked upon the earth.”

ألا یا أهل العالم إنّ جدّی الحسین علیه السّلام سحقوه عدوانا

“O people of the world — my grandfather Hussein, they trampled him out of enmity.”

Yazdī Ḥāʾirī, Ilzām al-Nāṣib fī Ithbāt al-Ḥujjat al-Ghāʾib, vol. 2, p. 233.

Had we been in Karbala,
we would have given everything to help the Imam.

But now?

What can we do, now?

II  ·  The Pledge

We are here, and we pledge:
we will not let Karbala repeat
for the last survivor of Imam Hussein (as).

Our first duty

To know him.

“The Imam is a companion of tenderness and mercy, a father of compassion, a devoted and gentle brother, and — like a mother to her small child — kind and merciful; the refuge of the servants in every hardship.”

Our second duty

To help him.

With our words and our deeds,
we will not let him stand alone.

From Najaf to Karbala

Every year, millions set out on foot toward Hussein (as) — and the road teaches one lesson above all: no one walks alone.

Know him

Learn who the Awaited Imam is — from the narrations themselves, not from rumor.

Love him

The tenderness of a father, a brother, a mother — answered in kind.

Stand ready

In word and in deed, become one of those he will not stand without.
